In 2014, TCF awarded 31 fellowships under its Cultural Exchange Fellowship Program. The TCF Cultural Exchange Fellowship Program was launched in 2012 to encourage cultural and artistic exchanges between Turkey and the world by supporting artists and art/culture professionals. The Fellowship has been awarded to 112 individuals from Turkey and all over the world to date.

Barış Can Aksakal, a glass artist and Research Assistant at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, presented a glass workshop at The Glass Factory Museum in Boda, Sweden in connection with the exhibition "Glass Unlimited - Made in Istanbul," in which three of Baris Can Aksakal’s glass art works have been exhibited.

Feraye Aysel Alver, a sculptor and Ph.D. candidate at Hacettepe University, attended a 3-week artist residence program at Amilly Ville des Arts School in Amilly, France and prepared her solo exhibition at the end of the program.

Sena Başöz, an artist, tutor at Boğaziçi  University, and Ph.D. candidate at Istanbul Technical University, pursued her ongoing audio-visual performance collaboration project "Chromatophore" with the German cellist and composer Nora Krahl, and performed it at the alpha nova kulturwerkstatt and galerie futura in Berlin, Germany.

Léa Bouchoucha, a journalist and graduate student at New York University, participated in the Istanbul Project, organized by iei Media. She wrote a multimedia story each day about challenges faced by Turkish women on Women's eNews.

Robin Cameron, a ceramic artist, participated in the international exhibition project “Lower East Side in Istanbul (LESI): The Built Environment" at Mixer Arts with her ceramic sculptures.

Zeynep Dadak, a filmmaker, film critic, and doctoral candidate at the Cinema Studies Department of New York University, attended the 15th Jeonju International Film Festival, which was held in Seoul, with her first feature film "Mavi Dalga / The Blue Wave.”

Özgür Demirci, a visual artist, attended the 10th Contemporary art festival "Night of Museums and Galleries," which was organized by the Open Arts Foundation in Plovdiv.

Anna K Edzgveradze, a contemporary artist, participated in the international exhibition project "Lower East Side in Istanbul (LESI): The Built Environment" at Mixer Arts.

Anıl Eraslan, a cellist, composer, improviser, and photographer, attended the 2014 OMI residency program, which was held at the OMI Arts Center. He gave workshops with other musicians and composed new pieces for different ensembles.

Manasi Ghanekar, a dancer, attended the Dance Residency Program based on Turkish and Indian Dance traditions at the Department of Turkish Folk Dance in the State Turkish Music Conservatory at Ege University.

Özlem Uzun Hazneci participated in a cultural event, which combined 20th century Turkish art, music, dance, and poetry with organ music of J.S. Bach, in Minnesota, Illinois, and Oklahoma.

Hale Hendekcigil gave her glass workshop at The Glass Factory Museum in Boda/Sweden in connection with the exhibition "Glass Unlimited - Made in Istanbul."

Caner Karavit, a professor at Mimar Sinan University, researched traditional Chinese paintings under the direction of Han Shi Liu in Beijing, China in order to teach the Art of Chinese paintings at Mimar Sinan Fine Art University after the fall semester in 2015.

İdil Kemer, a dancer, participated in the danceWEB Europe Scholarship Residency Program for Contemporary Dance and Performance within the frame of ImPulsTanz - Vienna International Dance Festival.

Mehmet Kömürcü, a glassblowing master at The Glass Furnace, participated in the exhibition "Glass Unlimited - Made in Istanbul" at The Glass Factory Museum in Boda, Sweden. He performed the traditional Turkish Glass pieces "Cesm-i bulbul" and produced modern glass pieces in collaboration with Turkish glass artists and Swedish glassblowers.

İpek Kotan, a ceramic artist attended the International BASEhabitat Summer School 2014 in Altmuenster, Linz, Austria. During the two-week workshop, she had a chance to learn the basics of building with raw (unfired) earth using adobe and rammed earth techniques. Her goal is to be able to integrate these two sustainable methods of creation into her own work before the end of 2015.

Brenna MacCrimmon, a musician and artist, visited Istanbul and Bursa to learn about aspects of Turkish visual and musical culture, especially in Karagoz shadow puppet theater. She seeked collaborations with Turkish puppet masters both in the presentation of traditional Karagoz to audiences outside of Turkey and more contemporary styles of shadow puppetry.

Kathleen Madden, a curator, organized an exhibition as part of Mixer Arts' international project “Lower East Side in Istanbul” (LESI) in Istanbul.

Ahmet Özdeniz, a glassblowing master at The Glass Furnace, participated in the exhibition "Glass Unlimited - Made in Istanbul" at The Glass Factory Museum in Boda, Sweden. He participated in demonstrations, and created “whirling dervishes” through the flameworking technique, along with other traditional glass pieces.

Şirin Pancaroğlu, a harpist,  gave two concerts as part of the 12th World Harp Congress in Sydney. Her concert presented traditional music from Turkey and the Balkans to an international audience.

Ece Pazarbaşı, an artistic researcher and independent curator, exhibited her work "4+1 Agents for Architectonics" in the "Festival of Future Nows" at the Neue Nationalgalerie, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.

Sümer Sayın, a contemporary artist, attended the 10th Contemporary Art Festival "Nights of Museums and Galleries," organized by the Open Arts Foundation in Plovdiv, to create a site specific work for the "City and Public Places."

Ufuk Şenel, a dancer, participated in the danceWEB Europe Scholarship Residency Program for Contemporary Dance and Performance within the frame of ImPulsTanz - Vienna International Dance Festival.

Tayfun Serttaş, an installation artist, participated in an artistic residency program and exhibition project "We All Live on the Same Sea" at the Sirius Arts Centre, in Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland.

Carol Shymanski, a contemporary artist, participated in the international exhibition project “Lower East Side in Istanbul (LESI): The Built Environment" at Mixer Arts with her ongoing project "cockshut dummy," a new series of prints.

Jerome Symons, a sculptor, gave a course on Public Art at the Department of Fine Arts at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in Turkey.

James Thurman, a glass artist and designer, participated in a glass art residency program at the Glass Furnace in Istanbul.

Josh Tonsfeldt, a contemporary artist, participated in the international exhibition project “Lower East Side in Istanbul (LESI): The Built Environment" at Mixer Arts with his work.

Hakan Ulus, a composer, participated in the Harvard Summer Composition Institute Residency 2014. He composed a new piece titled "A.Q.A.R." and gave a lecture on his music at Harvard University in Cambridge and Concord’s historic Colonial Inn.

Deniz Üster, an installation and video artist, participated in a week residency program at the Sirius Art Centre. Her new work was exhibited in the exhibition "We All Live on the Same Sea" at the Sirius Arts Centre in Cobh in Cork, Ireland.

Dr. Enno Voorhorst, a professor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and classical guitar virtuoso, gave a master class with the Ensemble Feverish Music International Guitar Days 2014 in Izmir, Turkey.
